Campaign Engagement

Campaign Engagement is the total number of interactions an ad campaign receives, including clicks, reactions, comments, and shares across all ads in the campaign.

Campaign Engagement Rate

Campaign Engagement Rate is the sum of total engagements with an ad campaign divided by the total number of impressions the campaign generates. It expresses, as a percentage, how many people who saw your ad actually interacted with it.

Campaign Impressions

Campaign Impressions is a count of the total number of times digital advertisements within a campaign are shown. A campaign is a grouping of ads organized by business objective.

Campaign Reach

Campaign Reach is the total number of unique people who saw your digital ads at least once during a campaign. A campaign groups ads by business objective. Campaign Reach counts distinct individuals exposed, not total ad displays, which separates it from impressions.

Campaign Spend

Campaign Spend is the amount of money spent on advertisements within a campaign. A campaign is a grouping of ads organized by a common business objective; a digital marketing campaign achieves this objective via digital channels only.

Campaign Unique Clicks

Campaign Unique Clicks is the number of individual people who clicked at least once on the ads in a campaign during a set period. A campaign groups ads under one business objective, such as a product launch or a lead generation push. The metric shows how many distinct people your campaign moved to act, not how many clicks it collected. That makes it a cleaner read on reach and interest than total clicks, which repeat visitors and accidental double-clicks can inflate. Use it to compare campaigns, judge creative, and decide where to put budget.

Click-Through Rate

Click-Through Rate (CTR) is the percentage of people who click a link after seeing it. CTR applies across paid search, display advertising, email campaigns, and organic search results. It is one of the most widely used indicators of whether your messaging is resonating with your audience.

Cost Per Click

Cost Per Click (CPC) is the price an advertiser pays a publisher each time a user clicks on an ad or link. CPC applies across search engines, social platforms, and display networks, and is the core pricing unit in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising. Tracking CPC helps advertisers evaluate spend efficiency, set budgets, and compare performance across channels.

Cost Per Inline Link Click

Cost Per Inline Link Click is the average amount of money spent per click on links contained in advertisements. It is calculated by dividing the total amount of money spent on ads by the total number of clicks on links within the ads and is a variation of Cost Per Click (CPC).

Cost Per Inline Post Engagement

Cost Per Inline Post Engagement is the average cost of each inline engagement with an advertisement on social media. It is calculated by dividing the total amount of money spent on ads by the total number of engagements with the ads and is a variation of Cost Per Click (CPC).

Cost Per Lead

Cost per Lead (CPL) is the average amount spent on acquiring a new lead, inclusive of all marketing channels such as paid advertising, social media campaigns, and content marketing. Cost per Lead (CPL) is a crucial metric that helps businesses measure their marketing campaigns' effectiveness in generating leads. CPL is calculated by dividing the total cost of acquiring new leads by the number of leads generated. This metric is particularly valuable for businesses that want to optimize their marketing spend to maximize return on investment (ROI). Marketing teams can segment CPL by channel. For instance, they may focus on paid advertising and consider only the inputs relating to paid ad costs and leads generated. It's important to always include the right costs in your equation, especially if salaries, creatives, or equipment are the main drivers.

Cost Per Pixel

Cost Per Pixel (CPP) is the average cost of conversions generated through tracking pixels in paid ad campaigns. A tracking pixel is a small piece of code embedded in an ad or webpage that records user behaviour, enabling advertisers to retarget users and measure conversion efficiency.
